Facility Information

St. John's is a historic building with beautiful grounds and modern facilities.  Ample parking and access to local amenties and businesses.  We have many well-defined spaces, indoors and out, suitable for your organization's needs for a pleasing and unique setting. Our facilities are diverse, functional and captivating.  Please visit and see for yourself.

Indoor Spaces

Parish Hall capacity 85

A 100' by 40' very high ceilinged hall surround by stained glass windows with a proscenium stage.  Folding tables and chairs for meals and meetings or empty for activites.

 

Guild Room capacity 40

An elegant paneed and carpeted room with long table and comfortable chairs for meetins.

 

Numerous Classrooms capacity 10-20 each

Many of the classrooms are brightly lit by natural light.  Many are also decorated for the pre-schoo children. A great setting for crafting events.

 

Kitchen (prepared food ony)

Large kitchen with refrigerator, range, double over, freezer, and industrial dishwasher.  Also with food preparation island and easy access to the Parish Hall, Guild Room, classrooms and access to outside.

 

Outdoor Spaces

Great Lawn

A 2 acre expanse of gently sloped grass with easy access to electrical power and the street.  Tents may be erected.

 

Memorial Garden

A smaller, perfectly flat and fully walled-in lawn for dinner parties, receptions, etc.  Also has access to electrical power.

 

CloisterCloister

An intimate, completely enclosed courtyard with a surrounding raised roofed walkway with direct access to the Church and Parish Hall.  Equiped with water and electrical power with easy access to the street.

 

Parking

Considerable parking on the adjacent roads and a large lot that fits about 100 cars.  Access to Long Island Soung, Glen Cove, Bayville, and Locust Valley.
